"For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that through he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, so that you through his poverty might become rich." 2 Corinthians 8:9 . How great is this verse! I have been dwelling on this verse this week, and its really spoken such truth in my life. In jesus' suffering for my brokenness, i have been able to see how i have gained the best reward - living for Him! In all that I say and do, i want my heart to overflow a reflection of Jesus in my heart!

Its been awesome diving into Deeper this past week! I've really been learning about what it means to be someone who seeks after Jesus. I think my verse for the week from Deeper was Psalm 22: 26"All who seek the LORD will praise him. Their hearts will rejoice with everlasting joy."This is so true in my life; that the more and more i dive into God, the more and more my heart is filled with joy. How cool is that!

Pray for the vicitims of the earthquake in Haiti. News reports indicate that over 200.000 individuals have perished. Many others have been injured. Thousands of homes have been destroyed. To make things worse, looting is rife. The good news however is that aid is flowing into the region and survivors are still being found. Pray for the people of Haiti. If you want some ideas, Pray that God would provide and that they get the aid they need. Pray that there would be more survivors. Pray for safety of the workers. Pray that they would come to know God.

The town officials of Katin, a small village, have banned villagers from practicing Christianity and have demanded the Christians in the village revert to worshiping the local spirits. The report states that there are families being held without access to food until they renouce Jesus. Having personally travelled through Laos i know how hard it is for christians to live an spead the word.  Read the article and shoot up some some prayers for the families and villagers.

Bill Hybels said that the most dangerous prayer you can pray is "God use me". Pray earnestly and be open to it and you'll be surprised what God does. Give it a go if you've up for the challenge
