"For he chose us in him before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless in his sight. In love he predestined us to be adopted as his children through Jesus Christ, in accordance with his pleasure and will" - Eph 1:4-5 God, the almighty creator of the world, has chosen us to be in relationship with Him. In Christ, he has redeemed us, he has summoned us by name, his favour is upon us and his love for us is unfailing. He promises us, that as his people, he will never leave us nor forsake us. Why? Because he is gracious! I don't know about you, but I simply find that mind blowing, and every time I think upon it, it encourages me to be living in a loving, fearless and intentional fashion for my loving Father in heaven. On camp, we are going to spend some time consciously dwelling in the truth that we are God's beloved, that we are chosen by Him! The camp will be from Jan 19-23 at Merroo in Kurrajong. There are going to be exciting new changes happening on this camp, and for the first time, all of Elevate will be together for the whole time as we capture God's heart for our lives in 2011. We'll be praising, seeking Him, hearing His Word preached, having fun, watersliding, swimming, chilling, playing and just hanging out with each other for five amazing summer days! I believe the Holy Spirit is going to be touching and transforming lives over the week...so makesure you do not miss JG 2011 - Chosen! Forms and payment need to be in by Friday 3 December.
