Time isnt money

We've just come back from Real Camp 2010. God did a lot of cool stuff. Just thought I'd briefly share some thoughts I had about camp and some of the stuff I learnt. Watching you guys go nuts praising God warmed my heart and brought a smile to my face. I  abslutely loved walking about and seeing everyone doing their quiet times spending time with God. it was beautiul listening to you building each other up and encouraging one another in the last session. Dont stop doing those things. Dont let it  be confined to camp. Continue to praise your hearts out. Continue to to do quiet times and dwell on God. Continue to encourage one another in love. It was great to see it so often on camp, and I cant wait to see even more of it as the year goes by. Keep it up elevate!  What were your favourite parts? Would love to hear about how you found it. (and please read on for more).....

Now, you’ve probably heard the saying “time is money”. Usually it’ll crop up in conversation when people are asked to do something but feel they are way too busy or would prefer to do something else. They say “time is money”. Sure, money is valuable, and so is time, but that doesn’t mean time is money. They are not the same.  You see, time is so much more important than money. Time is love.  Where you spend your time shows where your affections lie. Where you spend your time shows what you value and love the most. What is most valuable? God is. He is the pearl of great price. He is the field with the hidden treasure. He is more valuable than anything and more than anything He is worthy of your praise. Therefore spend your time with Him. That is just one way to love the Lord with all your heart and mind and strength and soul.

What do you think? What is the best way to spend your time?

Love it Andy - you're so right. time is love! i think we so often waste our time on pointless things, yet so often we forget about what really is valuable to us... and through it all, its Jesus who we should be spending our time with!
keep it up andy!
